When approached to design the award-winning Cancer Institute at the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Hunton Brady Architects was mandated to give the space a hotel lobby feel with clean lines and high-end finishes. Evidence-based design also guided the orientation of the building and the use of floor-to-ceiling windows as daylight and views of nature have proven to be beneficial to patients and staff, and to help speed the healing process.
